i am trying out a new money making idea and have no experience in this niche or in local SEO compared to my normal national tactics.

Any advice on how to rank a dentist in the UK, including specialist directories and any other tactics would be amazing, then if this works i will make a thread in the money making section with evidence to try and help others if it works. Any advice and tips with local SEO would be great too.

Just be aware that ever since the "medic" algo update, it's really hard to rank for medical / healthcare fields without serious authority.

Yeah, Local SEO for health related services is not for the faint of heart.

Really good backlinks are needed, keywords are very competitive

@cynicalSEO and @underachieved Cheers both, if I'm honest I've never heard about that so will have to do a bit more research I think. It was a test to see if I can rank a page and sell the real estate/ site space. Perhaps do lead gen if the fill in the contact form.

Some quick bits of advice different than common advice

— Get good reviews to your map listing regularly.
— Publish good content on your blog and build a link to them.
— Add the website to local directories.
— Publish an interview article on local news websites.
— Make sure your website is super-fast

Thanks, I've done my best on the site speed and its 100 desktop 96 mobile page speed insights and a and b gtmetrix, so hopefully that'll do, got about 10 original articles ready to go all 500 words so I'll combine some to make 2k articles, great tulips on local directories. As this is just to be a site to promote other dental practices, how skin go about getting reviews if it's not a real business please
