Dedicated Server Website Hosting?

Can anyone recommend the best/most affordable dedicated server hosting provider for load speed times?

Websites way outgrown shared hosting and want to keep it loading faster.

Best? : The hosting provider just gives you the equipment and the network port. It depends on how good the server is set up and configured. You can expect much faster load times even on a perfectly configured VPS than a poor dedicated server setup.

I have, there are actually so many I got absolutely confused as to what makes what better and which to choose from! That's why I started this post, to try to get some opinions and advice from people who use them and which they prefer. I've been on shared hosting all my life, and making this move for me is a big one, just hoping to get some opinions/reviews on what to even look for in a dedicated server.

Cool thanks mate, so even beyond the provider the setup needs to be configured correctly for the website to run efficiently? There's much more that goes into this than I thought . I was just figuring snag a good one on here with a nice code that loads fast in Australia and has cpanel, migrate, and done .

Exactly! None of the most popular websites out there runs on cPanel. They're all served from a custom built server. It's like a tuned car. You get Computer and Chip Tuning, Exhaust Systems, Turbo or Supercharger/Suspension/Brake/Drive Train Upgrades, Enging re-building etc., to get the maximum performance out of the machine but still the heart of the machine., the engine remains the same.

Dedicated Servers/VPS are very similar to that. It RUNS fine just like a factory-built car but you can't expect maximum performance out of it.

For ex, this is what Google recommends for a site that runs on cPanel.



You can't get those next-gen formats with cPanel.

a vanilla cPanel setup won't fix ^ this as well.

If you want to get the maximum out of your server resources, you need it be custom-built. You'll feel the difference only after you experience it yourself.

Alright so for a non-tech savvy, literal no coding knowledge person like myself how would I even operate something without c panel? Should I even be considering something like this because I'm about as newbie as it comes to everything code?

I run a custom built theme on word press and I do all my edits through there. I never actually touch cpanel, or anything on the back end.

Mate, you answered your question yourself. Most, if not all the cPanel WP users log-in to cPanel only to add domains, install wordpress and be done with it. You'd log-in again only if you want to add email addresses or add a add-on/sub domain or some advanced users might add some cron-jobs or redirects and use the built-in file manager. How do I know? Because I'm a cPanel user as well before a decade. So I know what features people look for but as a Server Administrator, I feel pity for all the peoples who buy VPS/Dedicated with cPanel and not benefit from all the server resources they paid for.

I see some members here recommend some open-source control panels but still it's just a free cPanel alternative and won't give any performance boost.

As in a custom-configured dedicated server, you'll only access your Wp-Admin dashboard and I set-up Yandex.Mail which is a free alternative to GSuite to manage your email accounts. You can configure sub-domains(if required) via CloudFlare and I'll set up whatever you need on that sub/add-on domain as well for free.

I set-up servers for several BHW members as you see in my Signature banner below and all of them were "Awestruck" with the performance and proud to be ahead than their competitors in-terms of technology/server stack/Google's recommendations. I should also mention that you'll see sudden spike(upward) in your SERPs for all your keywords after migrating to this custom-server because Google simply FALLS IN LOVE with these sites.

You can rent server from ovh and take management service from reputable provider like as bobscare.

Linode, but you need to configure it all yourself plenty of tutorials. I think they have started to offer a managed option for an extra $100 p.m server dedicated 1GB server starts at $5 p.m you can pick where your linode is based for best speeds to server your audience.

If you like WHM/Cpanel you will need a VPS licence ontop thats $200 p.a or $20p.m, you can go with other software or none at all if your happy to SSH everything. Been with them for 5 years now. Have 6 linodes with them from 8GB - 90GB
