I'm setting up CTR Booster and looking at strategies on how much traffic I should run for keywords.

I know a big NO NO is running too much traffic and to start slow. Less is more in this situation is what I've been told since you can't run it back from more traffic to less traffic, just doesn't look good in big G's eyes obviously.

Many recommend a blanket 10% of total search volume on desired keywords you're going after or 10% of total existing traffic a site gets. Thoughts on this would be helpful.

Also, been brushing up on @lemur001 YT videos which are pretty solid. Might go with a hybrid strategy with his recommendations on mixing in branded/direct search keywords. Also, probably mix in G Map searches...branded and a little non branded.

If anyone has any current strategies on branded and non branded keyword search ratios and specifically the amount of clicks starting (simple formula), that would give me a good base to start.

Thanks again everyone.

So it really depends on where your webpage is currently at. Is it new? If it's new, then it's recommended to only do Branded for a couple of weeks. As I don't spend enough time focusing and optimizing my Maps SEO - my suggestion would be to make a list of all the different similar software (Kraken (Viper Tools), Agency Assassin, etc.) and look up on Google or YouTube what people suggest as formulas. While they are different companies, the principles are still the same. :)
