We started a crypto page on YouTube back in Nov 2017 and began uploading a video a week during most weeks. The page started growing in subs and the daily view trend was up until February.
Then on the first week of March, our views and follower growth got crushed. We've published 8 videos since that time and all have gotten significantly less views than our first videos months before. We also get a lot of more spam comments and our subs barely get notified when a video goes up. See monthly view graphs below from SocialBlade.com:
We verified that this is happening to the great majority of cryptocurrency related pages, both big and small, all seeing a decline from 50-80% that started anywhere from Dec to Feb. I have also noticed that smaller pages tend to be in the upper end of this range.
Even though this analysis is far from scientific, I did pull up the same charts above for a number of other pages outside of the crypto space and they did not show the same trend.
Is this an all out war on cryptocurrency/Bitcoin related pages?
Does anyone know of a solution to this problem?
