Ok you should know something before I even start. I am doing this for myself. I want to keep myself accountable to the internet and this seemed like a decent option.
Yes, I could blog about everything at Passive Journal (my service blog) but I decided to do it on Medium just to have more eye-balls on me.
Just a bit about me: I have been building and selling sites since 2013 (5 years now jeez). I have sold sites for multiple five figures, I have built a business around affiliate marketing and I also sometime teach affiliate marketing to some of my countrymen. I live in Ireland but I am from Bangladesh originally.
Anyway don’t worry. A course pitch is not gonna come at the end of this journey. Once again, this is for me. I just want to keep a journal of things that I will do.
Who is this For:
If you are interested in making money online on the back of a website, this is for you. There are different ways to make money online and I am sure you know about some of them at least. There’s freelancing, there’s CPA marketing, there’s YouTube, there’s info products and the list goes on and on.
However, those do not require you to have a website. A graphic designer doesn’t need to have a website to earn with his graphic design skills.
That’s not my way of doing things. My plan has always been something like this:
Simple is fun.
Anyway, today’s Day 1 and I am officially announcing this project.
Here’re my goals:
I welcome you all to this journey. I will try to write updates every week. Initially, I will do a lot of updates as we are just beginning. Once the site gets rolling, there wouldn’t be much to talk about, I guess.
Today is August 9, 2018. Let’s see how soon (or late) can we make money from this site.

- Step 1: Create a site
- Step 2: Monetize the site
- Step 3: Get to a decent earning level (from $500- no limit)
- Step 4: Decide if you should sell or send the site to your portfolio
- Step 5: Repeat
