Just get an email adress at australia.edu, worked for me, didn't try this list yet but cool share :)
 
I don't think we can easily registered to those blogs for free because I know some edu blogs/sites requires emails that is already registered to their system
 
Nice discussion guys. And its damn sure that to have a working blog on .edu site is very tough. 90% sites gives a error that this Email address is not allowed... :(

.edu links are still precious, you juste have totry to register in some ;)
