Hey mates,
I just wanted to tell you, that there's some point into finding those links, as the different searches will return different results, of course some of the results will match in every search but ... it's better than nothing.
So I used this search in google:
I know it's pretty broad, but it returned a good amount of Results - 3 160 000Code:inurl:"edu" + "powered by WordPress MU"
So I went from page 1 to page 10 and scraped the live registration results.
I got 27 urls, and that's pretty good for 30 mins work (I know it's slow)
If someone can give better searching pattern, which will return good amount of results we can build a very juicy list...
Here are my results, so eveyone can use them:
Oh, and about the person who posted above me, why don't you share something, instead of asking others to share?Code:http://blog.wcu.edu/wp-signup.php http://clove.edschool.virginia.edu/wordpressmu/wp-signup.php http://commons.gc.cuny.edu/wp-signup.php http://blog.cortland.edu/wp-signup.php http://blog.lsc.edu/wp-signup.php http://fred.wheatonma.edu/wordpressmu/wp-signup.php http://titania.stockton.edu/wp-signup.php http://blogs.valpo.edu/wp-signup.php http://futurecraft.media.mit.edu/wp-signup.php https://blog.id.iit.edu/wpmu/wp-signup.php http://cio.byu.edu/blogs/wp-signup.php http://blogs.tamu.edu/wp-signup.php http://blogs.evergreen.edu/wp-signup.php http://faculty.shc.edu/wp-signup.php http://bioinformatics.ucla.edu/wp-signup.php http://wordpress.depauw.edu/wp-signup.php http://campus.albion.edu/wp-signup.php http://sites.umpi.edu/wp-signup.php http://blogs.miis.edu/wp-signup.php http://blog.mcla.edu/wp-signup.php http://www.tcmch.edu/studentservices/blog/wp-signup.php http://blogs.wm.edu/wp-signup.php http://blogs.csp.edu/wp-signup.php http://panda.unm.edu/wpmu/wp-signup.php http://cesd.eng.uci.edu/wp-signup.php http://blogs.brynmawr.edu/wp-signup.php http://adminblogs.shc.edu/wp-signup.php

They require you to be manually placed into the systems, the EDU's will not work. The only possible solution? Fork a college student some money for the details for a valid .edu email address. Also keep in mind this student must also have the email address passed by administration. They require students to write out nothing short of a novel on why they want to use the blog and how it will benefit the school.
I tried my email with a .edu domain from my college school. Still not getting any confirmation.![]()
University in UK use the ac.uk domain. You can google footprint "site:.ac.uk" for the list of university websites.Quick question: In the UK, universities are usually registered as a .gov.uk. Does this carry as much weight as a .edu? Obviously, it might just be best for UK targets. I'm gonna get in touch with my friends to see what their uni's policy is on blogs etc.
Unfortunately most EDU and AC.UK sites for that matter now require you to register for a new blog with an email address from said university. I've lost a great deal of my edu blogs, down to just a handful![]()
