Create WEB2.0 Structures Yourself - A Simple Method

somebody113,

good info, thanks. I intend to buy SLR as soon as too because monthly subcription coming in January but I need more info about this software before buying. Don't know how much it will be cost per month?

You wrote "I think you should take all the top ranked web 2.0's and create them manually". What operations are you using in SLR?

Since you create web 2.0's manually, what is rate of deleted ones so far? Have you tried to use own domain/subdomains for some main web 2.0s? I think that it is worthless to bomb your web 2.0 sites with links when it will be deleted for example in 2 months.

Last one. Where do you take profile pics?

SLR does have zimbio, xanga, wordpress, and tumblr in its list which is pretty solid. I think the RSS submission and bookmarking is pretty worthless atm, I'd suggest bookmarking demon(scritty has an A+ thread on how to use it) and rss submit and then AMR for article submission.

Pics come randomly from facebook & google imgs

You figure magic submitter costs $67/mo and senuke $127/mp, for SLR to cost $147 OTO, just makes it a complete no brainer, even for its current functionality right now. I only use it for its web 2.0 submission capabilities, until the other modules prove worthy, I'm not going to be using them.

I'm still experimenting myself, but haven't had anything deleted yet

I use backlinks energizer for my domains/subdomains, not what you're inferring by having a "web 2.0" on a hosted domain

Happy new years man =), last thing I need is more computer hermit time today

For the record, when I bought SLR from Steve Hawkins

I like the look of it - I also like Serpassist (it works 99% of the time - and even when it DOESN'T he gets it fixed - iut's normally a failed captcha)
But going to look at Steve Hawkins. (I didn't like the name at first - seemed like a scam.. didn't want to buy " A Short History of Time" - I already have it twice

Senuke SUCKS today, and there is little hope until Senuke X comes out in 2020

This is so sad - but true. Nuke used to ROCK. NukeX is looking more and more like vaporware. It's keyword tools, bookmarking tools, RSS sub tools etc have always been pretty second rate. Nuke won over all with excellent WEB2 creation. But now that's pretty shitty to say the least.

Magic Submitter = Joke

Aleks keeps adding features. Great. But then you go to post and find Livejournal, Wordpress, Squidoo and other all fail because he doesn't keep the core software up to date. The top 20 need to be check DAILY - as they change all the time (this concerns me about Steve's program - I really can't be assed to program a bit every day. I like to make content - get it spun and posted and move on -bot maintenance and macro creation is not something I want to get involved in. I would rather do the whole process manually than piss about with that)

I think it's like $147 w/ the WSO which is a pretty rockstar deal

It's ok - as long as the signup and submission macros/routines are maintained. It needs to work out of the box - and for 3-4 months. The meh - fair enough it's earned its keep.

Great info on sign up's added as well.

AS someone who deals in less than 20 sites these days -adding gazzilions of WEB2 properties all the time is not really what I'm in to.

Having a well established ring for each property and adding to the sites I already have (making them authorities in their own right) is working better for me.

I have about 20 sites and each one has a 10-20 spoke ring around it (with other smaller nodes off that)

Some of it needs refreshing soon. So I might lookj for a tool in the near future to set up the original structures. But I've got to say Serpassist will probably be the one I go back to. I know how it works and it gives exceptional success rates.

My worry about a one off fee program is that it will not be maintained properly over time. If you don't get in early you risk buying a flying turd.
(I'm thinking of all the Incansoft crap that doesn't do didly squat these days)

This is an awesome post. Rep given to Scritty. :D

One thing I wanted to clarify was content. Scritty you said you create a minimum of two posts on your Web 2.0 sites including a video. I would like to clarify what the first and second posts cover.

I'm assuming that if your money site is promoting Blue Widgets then all your Web 2.0 sites and articles are about Blue Widgets?

I dont think of myself as uncreative but is there a forumula to producing a lot of content on subjects you are not that familiar with? e.g.

Ten 10 uses for blue widgets
Best 5 blue widgets
Blue widget explained
etc
etc

Also Scritty did you say this method wont work for MNSites? Could you explain why not?

Cheers Si.

First post is link free and keyword/topic rich.
It's a darn good post giving people what they want.
If anything I might link to a well established authority site (PR7 or higher) just to show my credentials as a well versed "expert" in whatever field it is.

Second post can contain 2 links.

The multiple post thing doesn't work so well for microniche sites. It's SUCH a lot of work.
I have wordpress.com sites that get 7000 visitors a day themselves BECAUSE they are high PR to start with and have 20 or 30 posts on them.

I write quick (real quick - i've done almost 100 unique articles in a day before now - all speech to text). but even I'd struggle to support the several hundred microsites you'd need to make cash with enough content doing it this way.

To support MNF sites I used to throw up articles and chuck cheap links at it
- if that didn't rank it...I'd picked the wrong niche (it happens)

Had hundreds of sites in the end, making maybe a dollar a day each. It was all about quantity. MNF sites should rank with minimum effort else you are in the wrong niche (in other words your not in a micro miche)

I now do 20 medium sites. Half of which are not even mine, I do 10 for bricks and mortar places for a fee or a cut of the websites gross monthly take (I was lucky - I got introduced to a local web design company who were struggling to keep clients happy becasue their lovely expensive sites weren't making any cash)

I set up really complex and deep linking structures. The web2 sites are authorities in themselves - some with direct affiliate links - others not.

It takes time to actively link to all my web2. I add articles to them all at least one every three months as well (and given there are several hundred - that's hard graft)

I'm now a 20 site IM looking to make several hundred bucks a month per site MINIMUM.

On the side I try out various other stuff.

I'm using twitter to direct sell. I'm trying something called webdombot. I'm building up a mailing list etc etc. But the core is the sites.

Last tip. I use several montization techniques per site. I don't like all my eggs in one basket. Google burned me 18 months ago.

Scritty, this is a great thread!

I have a few questions about creating multiple properties on the same 2.0 site.

1. You mentioned you used wp.com a lot. How many properties can you create on a single 2.0 site (not just wp.com but in general) using one IP? In other words, at what volume -- if at all -- do you need to start using different IPs?

2. Can you use HMA VPN for IP diversity or are those IPs already flagged at the 2.0 sites, thereby requiring private proxies?

3. If it's important to use private proxies or a VPN like HMA for account creation, then do you have to make sure you use the same IP to go back and add posts later? Or can you use one IP for all subsequent posts on all the different properties you create on a single 2.0 site? [I know you can use posterous, too]

Oh, and

4. Is SLS 'simple leveraging'?

I appreciate your sharing here!

Scritty you are seriously the man, I've learnt so much from following your posts!!

I know i should use the thanks button toi thank you! but yeah really wanted to tell ya to keep up the quality posts man :D

Helping guys like me out learn so much!!

you are awesome.. too good..really i was unclear with concept and i was doing for so long and to be frank there were no changes at all

This is what i have got form your msg

unique keyword enrich article to top 6 web2.0 properties like hub pages, weebly, vox, livejournal, squiddo, blospot

No hyperlink on 1st web2.0 property and then on 2nd web 2.0 property one hyperlink will go to money website and another will go to 1st web2.0 property. Again on 3rd web2.0 property, one hypwerlink will be on money website and second link will go to 2nd web2.0 property and so on and in sixth web2.0 property we will close it by adding one hyperlink to money website and one will go to the 1st web2.p property

After that we will do social bookmarking for each web 2.o propert to make it more powerful and will submit a new article in articles website like ezine and in that we will have the hyperlink to the web 2.0 property which we are promoting. like this we will promoto those rest five web2.0 properties

In the above whole procedure will only use one keyword.

Pls pls correct me if i am wrong as i have to give demo on this

And yes all the profile on web2.0 will have pictures/logo , videos etc

Creating Web 2.0 properties.

Okay, you asked for it, you're going to get it.

Creating Web 2.0 properties dirty and down way of doing it.

Firstly, get yourself a list of do follow Web 2.0 sites. I'm not going to give any specific URLs here, because that's bad form, but if I do say check out ?Target Hut?first, it will tell you exactly which ones are worth putting your content onto. Unfortunately it doesn't detail whether they do follow or no follow, and a couple of searches through Google should sort that out.

While we're on the subject of this, don't be afraid of the odd no follow the link. But do follow are a lot better. It's interesting that many sites change their policy on link following from time to time. If Or you are a newcomer, and have a low maintenance blog or page, many sites will automatically class all of your links as no follow.

I've noticed on sites like Squidoo and others, that link start as no follow, but if you are a good little boy, some may well become do follow in time. There's no science to it unfortunately, you'll just have to work this out for yourself, and it changes all the time.

Secondly, you're going to need content. I like to create a six spoke structure to the main URL of whatever site on promoting as my first port of call. This will have two pieces of unique written content and a video. For video, I use a site called Animoto,(free) it lets you upload your own still pictures and it turns them into a snazzy video. You can either cheat and use a product like Cam studio (free) to record what it makes, or for five dollars a month you can become a member and make some quite long and complex videos yourself. Making a video in Animoto, once you have the still pictures is a 10 minute job. You can edit out the animoto logo with Windows movie maker (free), and add your own titles if you want.

The written work I write using Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 ($30), and a decent USB microphone. The speech to text program cost about $30, and it makes that back for me every single day without fail. It is one of the best investments I've ever made.

I suggest writing completely unique content for your hubs, that means writing 12 pieces to go with your video. How long should that take? Well with speech to text it would take me about 40 minutes.

Next, comes the signing process to your Web 2.0 sites. They are all different, and some are quite awkward. Over time you will develop your favourite sites. It is best to perm about six sites from 10 or 12, so you never hitting the exact same set of sites with each link structure.

Over time, once you learn how this works, you will be prepared to make this signup process as quick and as painless as possible. Here are the things I use and how I prepare.

Firstly, I have a brand-new e-mail address is ready, not a Gmail or a Yahoo mail, as many sites reject these immediately as spam. (Yeah, Google rejected as spam oh the irony) if you have your own sites and host, it's easy enough to use your own e-mail addresses which you create.

Top tip, once a e-mail address has done its job, you can always delete it. I tend to delete any e-mail address over three months old and then can replace it with a new one.

Okay I also recommend having a form filling bot like a Robo form ,(free). The free version of this does a decent job of making form filling in quite quick, for instance I can sign up to a new WordPress.com account in about 35 seconds, that's actually quicker than SE nuke or magic submitter.

Another great tool is a programmable keyboard, ($12-$80) use the programmable function keys to put in stuff like your name or password e-mail address etc etc then just press the buttons in sequence, you can even include the tab to space down to the next item. I have a system where I always know my name is F1, my e-mail address is F2, etc etc.

Then, pop into your e-mail client and click the links to confirm the signup status with these Web 2.0 sites.

The first time you do all this, it may take you well over an hour. However, I've got to the stage now where I am here in about 10 or 12 minutes, again, that's pretty competitive even when rated alongside automated Web 2.0 is creation and submission tools.

Next, pop back into the sites you've created. Of course you have bookmarked your pages, and made a note of the URLs that you have created haven't you?

Fill in the profiles. To my mind the crappy incomplete profiles that Web 2.0 creation software makes must leave a rather large footprint for the anti spam bots to find.

No photograph, no user information, the standard background theme used every time, to me this stands out like a sore thumb. Filling in a complete profile (again with a programmable keyboard or simply cutting and pasting preprepared information) for six accounts will probably take you 12 to 15 minutes. But in the long run will save you having to remake some of those accounts when they are deleted as spam.

Okay, earlier on I mention having to written pieces of work, one is the bedrock, the other is the banker. Sorry for the crappy phrasing. The bedrock piece is about alter ego or who or whatever, doing, your interests.
I tend to make it general narrative waffle. Just speaking into the microphone about some fictional person and the sort of dumb stuff they get up to on a day-to-day basis until I have three or 400 words. That takes maybe two minutes to write. (remember to include the keyword at 2-2.5% density and any associated words at 1-1.5% density)

You post the six bedrock pieces in the six sites. Then, that's it for day one. No links. Important!
No Links!

Three days later, I logged back in and put in the ?banker? piece, and the video. The banker piece has three links in it. Two are self-serving (one to my main URL and want to and in a page of my website) and a third is to a general authority site in the field. You get away with three links as you have a multiple post piece

If you are posting to Squidoo or similar, then it's just a banker piece. You need to take a little more care over it, but you only need one piece. Put the video on at the same time, and you're done

The video must have text or a link to your main site in it. I know you Tube do not allow external linking, so make sure your main URL is prominently displayed in the video, have it up on screen for 10-12 seconds at the end of the video for people to catch it.

Okay, you've created a six spoke hub. Overall, once you are practised at this the actual account creation and posting (bearing in mind you are making multiple posts) will probably come in at about an hour may be a little more for the whole lot.

Of course, you have to create the content, but you have to create the content whether you use an automated Web 2.0 tool or not..

Here's the rub, this six spoke hub will be a complete cocking waste of time. You will not get much traffic from it at all..... until..... you power it up.

Get some links, some bookmarks, or whatever you can to get the hub noticed. Articles pointing to your hub sites,Xrumer blasts, social bookmarking, even the old favourite scrape box spamming.

Preferably do all of these things and a few more. And point them at your hub sites.

Good quality bookmarks and articles on high PR sites can point directly to your main pages, for those of you not afraid of writing a little, tools like ?build my rank? are also great to point to your main pages as well as the hub.

Getting thousands of different back links is where the real effort comes in. I made the mistake early in my Internet marketing career are falling for all the flashy lights and jingly bells of automated Web 2.0 creation software. Yes of course it has its place. But it does the easy stuff, and leaves you to do the hard stuff. A WordPress blog or a wiki page on its own will provide next to no linking juice for your site. Bookmark it and link it spam it and basically hammer it, then it will prove its worth.

I made a post yesterday about Xrumer. Saying that it has its place. And it certainly does.

As far as back links go nothing will create more faster. And contrary to popular belief, they aren't bad or poor back links, however the huge downside is the majority of them will be deleted. If you can retain 30% of them for six months you are doing quite well.

I suppose the point here is, decide whether you are technically proficient enough to host your own Xrumer setup, or just pay a service 100 bucks a month to supply you with tens of thousands of links.

Other services will also help, and sick submitter does more or less the same as Xrumer, but much slower. I have not found it unstable, but others have had problems with it. Both tools are all about profile creation really. Although the new version of Xrumer claims it will do a lot more. (That probably means it will be even more complex)

Don't underestimate the power of social bookmarking to get your good links found. When you create a Web 2.0 structure bookmarking it multiple times will get it found, it's only a temporary thing, but once it's indexed you can press on. After all, time is money.

I hope you find this post at least a little useful, there are some sites here and tools that aren't normally spoken about in the black hat forums, and remember folks when it comes to Internet marketing tools

Yes - SLS is simple leveraging.

There are other options out there.
Steve (whose deal it is) sells it as a site linker. In reality I'm not sure it has quite the authority to do THAT much four your site long term.
However, as an indexing tool - it is superb, and well worth the outlay.

I find it much safer than Xrumer, which I never use on my own sites - or even my web2 stuff ONLY on 2nd tier PR5 or less sites (wher it excels)

Horses for courses.

And yes = make web2 stuff COMPLETE. image, bio, 2+ posts and anything else.
Too much of this missing signals you as a self promoter, and gets your site deleted in double quick time.
At the end the cookie cutter Nuke sites - (that give you the bare minumum of completeness) - were being deleted at an astonishing rate.
IMO (and it's only my opinion) the whole "micosite" philosophy with cookie cutter SEO to support it is on it'e last legs.
My preference is "mini" rather than "micro" 20+ pages or posts, updating on a semi regular basis, medium term link plan (months rather than days or weeks)
Make the same money out of 10 mini sites that you would from 100 micro sites.
Eventually you might get lucky and (essp if one or two of your sites are about things you are genuinely interested in) you might just get an authority site that gives you 50,000 visitors a day and makes you a thousand bucks a day on it's own. It does happen..and "natuarally" (or by accident) is the most common way I've seen it occur.

Newbies to IM can follow this and really get up to speed with their sites!! Thanks TS!

Hey Scritty,

It seems you aren't a big fan of micro niche sites, but for people still pursuing this approach, what advice would you give? You mentioned in one of your posts that you'd just throw some articles and links at it, but what does that consist of? Like how many spokes, and how big is the link scheme? And what shortcuts can be taken to speed up the process?

Guess what I'm asking is, what's a sensible approach to setting this up on a micro scale? Like you said, you'd obviously not go through all this trouble for a 4 page site...

Oh, and this has really been bugging me:

Big name sites like Hubpages, Squidoo, etc, are reputation based in a sense. So my question is, can the same web2.0 account be used multiple times (different lenses, hubs) for backlinking different sites? To expand on this, all the content is pure unique quality on the accounts. (This is MNSite related)

Definetly a nice method, a lot of work and more work if you are new to this, my first structure took me like 5 days (while I understood all the tricks and tools to make it and index it faster, now I can make one in a day).

Thanks for sharing.

Hi Scritty,

Firstly I have to say thanks for the value you are sharing in this thread.
I'm actually following several of your threads and you are providing great information.

One thing that worries me with these sorts of structures is the potential for footprints.
How do you go about protecting your network?
I realize your buffer sites protect your money pages but do you still believe if SEO hosting, whois cloaking etc are still required for your money sites.

Do you use Google analytics, if not how do you track your sites?

I may be paranoid but I don't want my sites dropping like dominoes in the event of one of them being flagged by Google.

What's your take on it?

Thanks.

Yes - I sometimes use google analytics. I also load in Statpress or similar if i'm doing a WP site.

@Pyrokin. You can still micro. If you do have adsense on its own. Google doesn't like to compete (it's a spoit brat in that respect)

Think in terms of 3 sites a week. 1/2 day set up then 1 or 1 and a 1/2 day linking.
Site 5 pages across 3 different keywords. 2 of the pages are the "about us" and "privacy policy" pages, leaving you to write the other 3 - one on each keyword.

You want a minimum of 800 searches per day per word. Even at number 1 you'll get maximum of half of this.

NO time for fancy stuff, buy a subscription to BMR or all in one SEO or similar or even some good quality Xrumer subscriptions that give you 2000 profiles a day. Write and spin 1 or 2 articles per keyword - use an article tool for 1 and hit the high PR article directories first (you don't want PR0 article directories to get credited with the "first found" or "unique" versions and the PR5 and PR6 directories to get scuppered for duplicate now do you?

Use the second for a small web ring, use Serpassist, nuke (if the fucker works) or whatever. Again get a sub to s decent distribution service.

Next get you indexing tools to work. You are often working 2 weeks behind with indexing, but bookmark, RSS submit, Ping, and use private networks or trash links (like xrumer blasts) to get your decent links powered up.

THink "quick" In this scenario you're not looking for traffic from your written work as much as link juice.

Correct formatting and optimization is more important that writing quality.
Keywords in header, keywords in HTML link, keywords 2-3% of the article. If you can use tags, get a H1 and H2 version of your keywords in. Spin the title and tag line VERY HEAVILY - BUT ALWAYS USING THE KEYWORDS.

2 days - one site built and optimized - move on.

Some will fail - others will succeed.

If you fail with a URL you are sure is good - have another go - if you still fail it might be that the competition is too much. Let the site "mature" and flip it at one year old to at least get your cash back.
If the URL is dodgy (concatenated keywords, crap suffix or whatever) then put it down to experience and remember to cancel it with your host (otherwise they'll keep charging you for it)

3 months down the line - 25 sites bringing in a dollar+ a day or $750 a month.

A year of this and you will get better, your older sites will earn more, you should have 60-70 sites (allowing for more linking work on your core sites from time to time) all earning perhaps $2 a day (7 days a week remember) - $3000 a month perhaps - that's when (for most) you've replaced your job.

Only Guru twats say it will be quick - it never is.

Scritty

Scritty, i am waiting for your reply to move forward..Pls guide if i am on the wrong track.. Also i will have to do this with one IP...?
