CPA-Why Design An Offer?

I'm interested in monetizing an adult blog with CPA offers. I've never tried anything with CPA, but have been interested for a long time. I remember learning that content publishers sending traffic always design their own landing pages for CPA offers.

Why is this necessary? Wouldn't it be much simpler if the advertiser themselves designed a converting offer, and then it worked just like affiliate marketing where publishers send their traffic to the page.

Now another question. Is this always the case, or do some CPA offers come ready to send traffic to? Or, is it simply that advertisers have already designed the offer, but it needs to be taylor-made by the content publisher so it fits in better with their traffic source?

I'd like to get into this, but money is so tight I can't afford to hire anyone to create an offer page, so I'm trying to find out everything I can. Thanks.

Are you by chance experienced with WordPress? There's a lot of great templates and themes out there that would allow you to create a great landing page and you wouldn't need much experience and there's plenty of themes out there that are free and you can even find some Premium themes that can still be cost efficient.

I keep forgetting about this but I do have a Wordpress plugin that creates simple opt-in pages. It may be too basic for this, I'm not really sure.

I guess I'll need to look at some examples of adult CPA offers (not sure if they're that different stylistically from other CPAs). Maybe it's something I can manage to develop myself, at least to get started for a while.

But I still wonder why designing our own offers is even necessary, or if it always is.
