Hi.

We all know that if you want to cheat on your CPA network and make submissions from your PC, from same IP several times. You'll get BANNED.
(let's pretend we don't know about proxies and all that stuff).

Now. If we don't cheat and drive traffic so as to make some conversions. For example we are running e-mail submission offer and we are using incentive like "submit e-mail and have a chance to get PS3".

Some wise-ass guy (one of your visitors) may think "I will submit 50 e-mails and get good chances to get PS3". He goes there and submits 50 different e-mails from SAME IP.

And coila: you're BANNED. Actually I think you'll get banned even for 2-4 submissions from same IP.

Right?

Gow are you going to protect yourself?

that shouldn't get you banned, it just obviously won't count all of those as conversions

Most offers have preventative measures in place for things like this. They usually only allow one conversion per IP I believe. It gives some sort of error message if they try.

Well, it's good if so..
But I read some guy on BHW said he used to make self-submissions and forgot to spoof IP once - and bam! - he was banned. So, I thought, if he got banned for this, nobody is safe with that particular network...

i'll take a guess that perhaps his IP was matched with one of the IPs he used to login into his affiliate account???

I find it absurd to think that if some guy from india fills out ur offer 8 times u'll get banned

OK, I understand. Thanks to all guys a participated.
