Hi all,

I am a newbie to this internet marketing world and I'm starting out doing some affiliate promoting with clickbank. I have done some good research and I have a pretty good understanding of how it works, but I'm just overwhelmed with "information overload". I just need to know where to start. If anyone can lend me some of their expertise, I would be very appreciative. I'm just ready to leave my job and I need to build this foundation for my internet marketing business. I need the basics...If one of you guys can just show me "step-by-step" how to sell just ONE product that would be fine. I just need to learn how to make my first 10 bucks and eventually can take it further from there.

There are so many options for ways to promote products. Keep reading here, but also learn when to stop reading. If you are experiencing "information overload", try to read a method then sign out of blackhatworld and all other forums. Then implement it. Don't get consumed with all the methods. Get consumed with implementing.

To be honest nearly all the methods I have read here on BHW have the potential to work. Just pick one and stick at it. You will eventually get clicks and then after a few hundred clicks you should have made a sale.

N.B. Don't focus on the money yet just focus on getting traffic.

Building a review blog or splash page on several similar products seems to work best with Clickbank.

I would write and submit several articles to the directories to get the initial flow of traffic to your blog or page.

One question...Should I just post article reviews on web2.0 sites and do my own website or should I just stick with the article reviews for now?

create a landing page with the clickbank products you are promoting, create several articles and post to article directories with a keyword link back to your landing page.

Hey Jack .. .. Should I get a domain name and host my landing page there? and should the domain name include the name of the product in it?

Personally i don't think domain names matching keywords matter, coz ive got first page for keywords without them being in the domain name. I would be more worried about getting the SEO of your page right and setting linkwheels using web2.0 structures to bring link juice to your money page. Plenty of services on fiverr or here on BHW will help with the backlinking aspect.

there are simply many methods , try craiglist , facebook , twitter beause these 3 are master tools to promote if you dont have website or blog
