Hello people,
I need advice from more experienced. I've been working on my yt channel for 3 months and now I'm on 1k subscriptions.
Through the channel I plan to sell beats - but to get subs, I recorded songs from other artists that I don't have permission to use (eminem, saint jhn, weeknd etc).

Now to my question.

Can I request monetization when my channel has 1/2 of my own beat and 2/2 are songs from famous artists?

Does he have a chance to go through it or will they refuse / get me a ban?

Thank you, I'm sorry for English, I'm not native.

* I want to monetize only my beats - not the others.

The videos with your beats have the total 4000 watch hours required for monetization? If yes, I don't see why you wouldn't want to delete anything that's not yours. Other than trying to get more traffic with those famous beats. If I'd have to guess you probably won't be accepted, the reviewer might not be able to tell that even your original beats are yours, with so many promotion channels around. Make sure to specify in the description they are made by you. So yeah, my opinion, if the videos with your own beats cover the needed watch time I'd say delete everything that's not yours. If not, make a playlist and place them with the famous artists beats so you get the watch time needed on your beats and then apply for monetization when you have that.

If you can make your own beat, and get subscribers from it. So you don't need to upload other beat. Just delete all beat not yours and try to make 4000 watch hours time for your beat. Good luck to you!

Yes you can they will just demonetize the beats that aren't yours or the record label will claim the adrev from those beats anyway.
