Can someone please help me on finding micro niche?

Hey friends,

This is my first post on BHW. My question is for all the micro niche site website owners who run a site that is less than 10 pages or maybe even less than that.

Q1) How do you get the niche idea?
Q2) After getting the idea of how do you search for keywords?
Q3) How do you validate your idea (whether it's worth your time and efforts or not?)

If someone can lead me to a guide already posted here or can write a good answer would be a great help to me and other community members?

when you find a keyword then use adwords to find the best keyword with high traffic and low compitition .

we usally put the kw in a online app like kwfinder and find the score on that kw.

anythink below 15 is useally safe kw .

you must make sure kw got cpc in adwords
that way you no advertisers are spending.

know find a afflicate to match kw deal.

Thanks for the reply mate but I'm looking for a niche where I don't need to follow the trends. There are few of my friends who are spying on their competitors in a way that they are directly able to find a niche direcly from there. I'm lacking that competitor research knowledge.

I mean I'm good at spying but not that great at coming up with a niche. Does that makes sense?

i am very sure that adwords can help aswell .... when you enter a main keyword you can press sugestions and it gives you ideas and info..

See, if you want to pick a niche, you have to pick that one of which you have enough knowledge to write a good amount of blogs and compete with your competitors. Once you have picked up your niche, then it will be easy for you to decide the keywords.

I use G keyword planner all the way. Just key in a keyword that interests you (so that it will be easier for you to explore that option later), and then G will give you a list of keywords that have their own traffic potential and competition in that matter.
Pick something that is easy to game, and related to what interests you - and if they are paying good money for that niche or keyword (more than >$5), then that niche would be a good one that you should explore further.
The get a bunch of these exact keywords, and insert those into a domain name finder, and try registering an exact match domain, and you can start building your site based on that already.

Use software like KW finder, Semrush and buzzsumo to analyse trends and find the best keywords.

Here are the few steps to find your niche:

• Identify your interests and passions.
• Identify problems you can solve.
• Research your competition.
• Determine the profitability of your niche.
• Test your idea.

For searching your keyword you should make a list of important, relevant topics based on what you know about your business. Fill in those topic buckets with keywords. you can research related search terms there. Check for a mix of head terms and long-tail keywords in each bucket. You should see how competitors are ranking for these keywords. And finally use the Google AdWords Keyword Planner (or HubSpot's Keywords App) to cut down your keyword list.

Try lsigraph.com to create some keywords that you may not have thought of from a root keyword. LSIgraph uses google suggest to give you search phrases that people search for in relation to your word

This is my opinion, Correct me if I am wrong.

You might be making a mistake if you choose the micro niche based on what topics you like, as it may happen that you have chosen a micro niche for e.g. Golf then you might not get High CPC or High volume keywords or you might not get a proper affiliate product for that. So what you have to do while choosing a great micro niche is do a good research about the hot niches that are running in the market right now. For that you can choose Google Trends, Buzzfeed or even social media to get that. Choose the mirco niche which gives you high CPC or good affiliate commissions.

Q2) After getting the idea of how do you search for keywords?

After you get the Idea and your main keyword, find long tail keywords. There are several ways to get the keyword ideas: 1) Google Keyword Planner, 2) Ubersuggest by Neil Patel, 3) Google auto Suggest.

1) Google keyword planner: Go to G planner and search your main keyword there. Make sure you select proper filters like nation and competition. You will get a huge list of the keywords. From that select the Low competition keywords with an average search volume (at least 1k a month).

2) Ubersuggest: Like G Planner, Search your Keyword there. You will get a list of keywords there too. From that choose those keywords who have high CPC and low competition.

3) Google auto suggest: Open Google, paste your keyword in the search and wait. You will get the suggestions below the search bar completing the keyword. You can also find long tail keywords at the end of the Search Result Page.

And don't rely on the keywords on the basis of competition. They usually shows you the competition of PPC. So check all the keywords manually in Google under double quotes. Select the keywords based on the number of search results that you see.

Note: Only choose those long tails keywords who have at least 4-5 phrases in it.

Q3) How do you validate your idea (whether it's worth your time and efforts or not?)

After getting the ideas and keywords, Write in depth and great quality contents (If you want to know what I am talking about checkout the contents of greatist.com). If you cannot write good then hire a writer who can do for you. Write high quality and lengthy contents (1500+ words).

There are a lot of useful tools for this, a Google search about it will provide you with a lot of recommendations.

I look up the competition on the SERP, ways to monetize it, user intent behind the keyword, etc.

Start with something that has kind-of "finite" topics, one website that worked that way for me was in the education/university niche.

Create a website about a certain topic (mine is about Biology majors)

For example here are some areas you can explore in the niche, but there's never any NEW NEW stuff, just regurgitated information and it's only updated twice a year because schools start around December and August (you can even see visible traffic spikes in Google Trends if you search Biology Major)

Generally you can write about something like this without having to look around too much

1. Top Universities for this major by state (52+ states)
2. Top Colleges to prepare for this major (39854793847534958 to write about)
3. Average salary for this major (targeted for each state even if you wanted)
4. What can you do with this major (targeted for different areas of Bio majors)
5. What to expect with this major

These are just 5 headings you can easily create a couple dozen blogs for, for example, the "top universities by state", theres over 50 states, not to mention there's dozens of universities in each state, you can review each of them and link to CPA offers for things like Udemy and Coursera

If you play your cards right, you can eventually rack up dozens of blogs about just these 5 bullet points, let alone more.

The content doesn't get updated frequently in this niche, you can get some RSS to upload major updates in the field, but nothing really more.

I found that you can easily get traffic through Facebook by joining college/university related groups and pages and just posting 1-3 times in each page per week, try NOT to spam, you're an educational website, not an a$$hole. We're talking 10-30 clicks per day per "group/page" you post in.

You need to do a bit more research and figure out exactly when people are interested in these topics before posting them, because you could easily finish this website off by christmas break and hit a complete dead zone in traffic, no one gives half a shyt about education on their winter break!
