Can i use adsense on wordpress?

I'm a total noob in this whole website and seo stuff, so i tried to google this but the information wasn't very clear. Would really appreciate if someone could help me with some simple questions.

- Can i use adsense on a free theme wordpress?
- Only on the premium ones?
- None?
- If the answer is no, is there any viable alternative?

You can set up AdSense on WordPress , check YouTube there are a lot of videos .

Yeah .. you can use it on wordpress ... most theme have option to put ad code.. you can also use some plugin ..there are alot of free ones

Yes, you can use adsense on any theme you want. Set up your website, write 10+posts of 500+ words of content, add a privacy page, add a TOS, add an about me page and send in your application. Make sure the page is easy to navigate through. I've probably missed some things but you can find all information here on the forum.

Ok, i read someone saying you could only put adsense on premium wordpress themes not free ones, so that's why i was confused.

Yes, you can use Adsense on a Free Wordpress theme. You can add a plugin for adding the Adsense Code on your Wordpress website.

No, you can add on Free Wordpress Theme as well.

You can use Adsense on any WordPress theme. Heck, you can even use Adsense on blogger so long as you follow their terms.

Yep, you can use any free theme for AdSense. You don't need a premium theme to get started. I've seen some free theme which have a higher CTR for AdSense ads than premium themes so believe me, it's not needed.
