Rewrite it.You can also use some spinner tools to make it unique and fresh.You can find one over the web.Just research and study to do that.Be creative.

I would think google doesn't like ranking the same content multiple times. You would have to rewrite it. Another point to make is that by copying content you can never outrank someone. You could only get to their rank by creating good new content that's better than your competitors.

Re-write it and add your own tone, intro, extra paragraphs or two etc... that should be no problem... and in fact the re-written version would be way better than the original if done correctly...

This is a tremendous theory, might be possible... But i don't think that google really needs to hire someone to do that. the world wide web is already taking care of this mission by himself

Yes you can rank but the police will find you and arrest you. So take your time and re-write it instead.

It's very possible that you will rank higher with a better SEO. My competitiors stolen ALL my content(text+images) published as nothing happened and they rank 3-4 while I got penalized by google for thin content. Yea wp google.
