Can i promote short links on fb ?

Hello everyone , i'm planning to try a method on fb by selling t-shirt the only concern i have is that can i use promote for short link ? For example i want to sell t-shirts from teespring and i will shorten the link on bit.ly or google does facebook allows this kind of promotion ? Thanks
