Hi!

I'm thinking of buying backlinks from a Danish provider of .dk links and using these on my Danish, but also Swedish, and Norwegian sites. Is there a problem with Danish sites linking to Swedish and Norwegian sites, or does it not matter since the languages are not that far apart?

I understand that linking from an Indian site to a Scandinavian one might not be optimal due to substantial linguistic differences, but I'm curious about the impact within the Scandinavian language spectrum.

I look forward to hearing what you think :)

Create a separate page (pillar post) for each country.

Link to these pages from country specific providers.

Internally link to pages you want to rank, from pillars.

That's how I'd do it any way.

But, you shouldn't get penalized for direct linking.

Language is more important than TLD.

But even that matters less now because engines are language agnostic.

Thank you for your input!

Including various Scandinavian backlinks can give a regional feel, but make sure they fit well with your content and aren't just bought, real connections work better with people and search engines.
