Burying Search Results

I have a client who has had some bad press on every major news and sports outlet. How do I go about burying this in google? I've read up a lot on it, but I'm wondering if there are any other tactics or tricks of the trade that aren't as widely written about. Your insider help would be much appreciated!

1. Go about a press release all guns blazing with some positive press, spend money and get to some high profile PR sites
2. Guest postings in high DA sites and promote those posts vigorously
3. Do some Web 2.0s and try to get them to rank
