Bug with BIMBER theme?

Ok There is a major problem.

There are the default caregories that come with the theme. If the category has widgets already pre-installed in the side bar, the customize shows the "Post Archives" section and I can edit the sidebar and add or remove widgets.

If I would to remove all widgets and publish, the next time I try cutomize the category from Customize "Post Archives" will no longer be there.

Now when I create a new category and even though I have chosen from the dashboard there to be a sidebar in the post collection like for example "List with Sidebar" for that category.

Please help me, how to add widget in new categories when "Post Archives" is not there?

Yes contacted their support still no reply. They always reply I guess its weekend.

I can't but I'm sure their support can when they're back online. Open a ticket for that as well, they've always helped me with my issues - patience will help though.

You can contact the developer or support, they should be able to help you out

He already contacted support

@OP, this sounds like a theme bug, the only way to get this solved is to get in touch with customer support I am afraid.

Yes, I contacted support.. no much help so far. They asked for admin login to check it out, I gave them. Nothing else happened. Will see.

I ma also running into another problem. In the widgets area in the dashboard, I created a new sidebar, however I can't delete it. I know Bimber allows you to create and delete sidebars, and when I create a new one it can be deleted. But for some unknown reason, this one doesn't want to get deleted, there is no option to delete it. I contacted support, they asked for FTP access to disable it, I gave them.. nothing happened till now. Support was always helpful,this time not so much. Thinking of deleting every on my site and starting from scratch.

Just an update for everyone and anyone reading this thread. BIMBER's support resolved all my problems and were very helpful.

Everything worked out fine, they removed the sidebar I added by mistake, and turns outs I need to add a couple of posts in the category so that the sidebar appears, they told me that and it worked fine. There are no bugs.

Just wanted to add that. Their support is great.
