I've been reading the past couple of days now that Bitcoin is dead?

This poses quite a problem for me, for the past week I have been trying to send some BC to a friend of mine yet it doesn't seem to be going through.
I have quite a bit of money tied up in BTC now and I was wondering what happens if it crashes, have I just lost all my money? or is there another way to send it to my friend.

Any help on the matter would be appreciated :)

Bitcoin isn't dead and won't be for a while. It's been fairly stable for what you can expect from a Cryptocurrency.

If Bitcoin crashes to 0 you will have lost all your money but that's very unlikely to happen before your money gets to your friend.

I was wondering if you knew a approximate time it should take to move BC from my wallet to
a friends?
 
Around 10-20 minutes but sometimes up to 120 minutes. When did you send them?

Well I attempted to send them around 16:30 today, but nothing seems to have come through on his end
 
They do not seem to have, I'm clearly having a bit of a problem sending them, I'm just not aware of what the problem is. I sent it as I was meant to, but it doesnt seem to leave. Not sure why

Just a word of warning - dont give your account details to ANYONE.
 
Dont skype him hes probably trying to scam you, probably one of Grahams multi accounts that guy is all over the shitlist section.
Try sending the bitcoin to another wallet of yours and see if that works, i personally never had problems sending btc.

I just joined this forum and added a huge Guide/Introduction to the section (check my post history). Just trying to help the guy and kickstart this little sad part of the BHW.
 
Are you trying to send coins to an offline wallet?, Why don't you ask your friend to open an account at coinbase or uphold, May be you might be able to send some thru,

Word of warning- as @mcpatrick mentioned don't give out your account information,

Bitcoin isn't dead but dropping drastically, So if you or your friends wants to cash in keep an eye on exchange rate, But again thats how bitcoin is after all crypto currency
 
Thanks everyone, I do not have any intention of handing over my account information, I will go on skype later but as some help, thanks again and I will tell my friend to set up a coinbase account today and see how that goes :)
