Bookmarking in Foreigner language, a tiny question please :o)

I would like to promote French Youtube videos by Bookmarking them.

Do you think I can Bookmark them on the main/most famous and high PR Bookmarking sites, with anchor text and comments in French ?

err why not?

Hum, because all the bookmarking sites come from USA or are in English,
so I wanted to be sure that Google would see my French bookmarks as relevant.

What is "err" ? by curiousity

If it is French why do you promote it on English bookmark site? It won't give you as much power as promoting in your local bookmarking site. I assume your target audience must be French people or anybody who read French not english.

In fact I wish to build backlinks via boomarking sites,
and English/US bookmarking sites have high PR.

So the fact that people can read my bookmarks is not very important, just a bonus
I only target strong backlinks.

The fact is there are almost no French Bookmarking sites, that's why I posted this thread.

To be honnest, I guess that -if I post my bookmarks on English sites- Google will analyse my French bookmarks as well as English ones
but I just wanted to have opinions from pros on BHW
