I thinks its just a little off the freq can come read the thread and leave a thanks to someone defending him but not take the time to reply himself.

He should have at least stood up for himself and his product if he read the thread.

Helloal yes bodeezy is in my sig file and yes they are good friends of mine. but in the im chats posted they did try to help him and offerd another software to help him out even further. I can see where the guy got frustrated but they pointed out their policy is no refunds and they did agree to work with him. Like Sinewave pointed out he was ver pissed and worried about loosing a very large contract but he hung in with the vendor and did finially get a posative resolution. So I can see where my opinion may seem biased but trust me they are good guys and will work with someone to make a situation right.
 
Bottom line, unhappy customer.

Give the guy his money back, disable the key and be done with it..

One unhappy customer can kill future sales, in these times of competition customer satisfaction is most important.

I thought he did?
the chat records indicate this and he also stated in his reply that some systems are not compatable with all software and thaat they were trying to work with the guy to fix the issue one way or another.

Me too I purchased one of their program (proxy machine), and it is still not working properly on my machine. Maybe it's just me, or there is a conflict with my machine (think I had a virus at the time). I still have to find the time (been months now) to get back in touch with Bo to try to fix it (I know Bo, my bad... Renovations, you know what I mean!!!...)
But my overall experience with him has been quite good. I have nothing wrong to say about him, and I'm sure we'll either fix it or find a common agreement.

My advice, try again to make it work with them. If their softwares were such jokes, there would be a ton of threads on this forum about their shitty programming skills. But as of today, there ain't that much. That speaks volume about what they offer.
 
I will add my two cents to the discussion. (As I have in the past and it didn't go over that well then and I don't expect it to go over well now)

It seems every time Bo and/or Fre release any software there is a thread just like this one. Somebody or a group of people are pissed because it doesn't work for them. Search the forum.

I know they have been around a long time and they have an excellent reputation. But come on, how many times have you seen these same threads?

But I still agree with the OP. He should get a refund or at least another copy of his current title. He didn't buy other software from them. He bought the product we wanted.

I liked the earlier analogy that refunds are rarely given for software, but at least if it is defective, they WILL replace it with the same title. In other words, if you go to Best Buy and buy Windows Vista and it is defective, they don't in turn try to give you Red Hat Linux. Know what I mean?

If he wanted a different title, he would have bought the other title.

I contacted Bo right away, but it is mainly because I was just starting my renovation company that I didn't have the time to get back in touch with him so we could both have a deeper look at what was the problem for me.

Thus I can't really say anything bad about them. Bo offered to help me right away. I'm sure when I find the time, he'll be around.

And yes, since he was courteous and willing to help, I am fine with that.

I don't think anyone here is slandering anyone or dragging anyone's good name through the mud. I wish I only knew half of what these two talented individuals know but that really was not the argument here.

I agree with alli on this one. I have not dealt with bodeezy before but my first impression is not a good one. I paid alot more than other similar programs and this one does not even work for me. I have spent now countless hours trying to troubleshoot problems with it with no success.

Yes bodeezy and frequeny have a lot of friends and happy previous customers on this board and us unhappy customers r being bullied and sometimes banned on this board


If they were not members on this board then they would be ripped to shreds instead people have taken liberties against the unhappy customers. It is disgusting.

It brings down the merit of the board to have blatant one sided opinions on this matter. How is it fair to false advertise a program and then shut people out when they complain. Time for somebody to man up to their mistakes instead of smearing actual customers that spent $149 wanting their monies worth.
 
Also i am not looking for a refund. I am looking for a program that works. Please just send me something that works, That is all I want and i will go away. that simple.

hmmmm so 250 units of YM at $149 equates to $37250. Pretty good money there. And that is just one of their programs. U would expect a lil more support from these guys makin this kind of bank.
 
I can understand your upset it didnt work, but from what I can tell Bo and Freq did try and help you. Im not saying the program works or doesnt, I havent tried it. But from the little communication I have with the two of them, they have been pretty nice and helpful to me.
 
well i cant speak for the program helloall, I have never bought any of there programs, so I really cant speak for any of their programs. I also cannot speak for their customer support since I havent bought their stuff. All I was saying was that from the communication Ive had with them they have been nice and helpful to me.
 
Well they deliver nice communication that is not the problem, but even when I follow all their direction to get the software to work, but it just doesn't work (for me)..
 
This forum should mean something else - now I see Jr. Vips and Executives helping eachother and defending an giving the same bullshit politicians today do. We are sick of that - you pay for a product it needs to function properly because this is for what you paid - now it's not my concern and not my problem that bodeezy or somebody else are good peeple, that they did a mistake but they are good people - I don't give a damn - I payed for something - I expect it to work, if not - give my money back. If I buy a BMW and the engine is broken, nothing seems to work, for somebody to tell me that this thing happen and that the president of BMW is a great guy, it even offered me a bicycle or smth that I don't needed, it even hugged me - and that I am the bad guy here - because the guy it's so nice and I want my money back - so stupid and crazy of me - I am really a bad person right? I don't know maybe we see things from a different perspective - like Jr. Vips and Executives from the perspective of friendship and close interest and gain and we people from the perspective of a customer.

Hope they will not ban me for expressing my opinion - but we live in a free democratic world right?..

Ohh.. There's nothing cutting edge about the application - stop using these kind of words to impress every noobie here, it doesn't work.

Well if you don't have enough control over your emotions where you can allow someone to pressure you to resort to cussing, then you have bigger problems than software issues. What is it that people aren't getting? You don't get refunds for software. From that chat log it appears that Bo and Frequency attempted to help the guy get it working right. If that's not good enough, what else can they do for him?

You say 1-3 unhappy customers for every product they release....if there are only 1-3 unhappy customers for 100-200 copies of a product sold, I would think that's a victory, because no matter what you sell or how great it is, you will ALWAYS have unhappy people. That's just a part of business.
 
You don't get refunds for software.

If you read the Youtube Massacre topic, on page 12 Freq states:
"If for whatever reason your computer is not compatible, we will happily offer you a refund or trade for some other software."

In my situation, Freq tried to help me, but it just don't work for me. So then it must be a configuration for my pc.
