Just watching BBC2'S 'The virtual revolution' and apparently 90% of all blogs are 'DEAD'
what does this mean for all of us auto-bloggers?

Good lord. In the last 48 hours Niche Marketing has become saturated, Article Marketing has died and blogging is now dead. How in the world will we all make money?!? /sarcasm

No, blogging is not dead. Just because a lot of individual *blogs* are dead - aka abandoned - does not mean that blogging itself is dead.

Blogging as a web log or journal i'd say is dead, but blogs with content being used more as a website or CMS than a blog is probably at the highest point it's ever been. Autoblogs mostly feed off that kind of stuff, so I don't think there's a problem. I doubt an autoblog that is supposed to be a journal or web log would be that successful. Or maybe it would, I haven't tried it.

Just make sure you are on the next boat when it leaves town.

Anyone remember Geocities? Remember when slashdot could bring down servers with the amount of traffic?

The specifics change, but the wise keep making coin.
