Hey,

I came up with this great, al-beit shady idea - but then that's why we're here right?

My idea is on how to destroy our competition - literally, make them cry.

Here's my idea in a nutshell:

Find the #1 ranked site for your kw.
Optimize your on-site seo for the kw using wordpress/seopressor.
Pretty much copy their content.
Follow Cash's amazing SEO Blueprint here:
Code:

on your site.

At the same time - create a poorly maybe 40%-60% unique spun version of some of the content on their site. Submit that to Lots of AMR directories, 2.0 sites, and fast-post the crap out of it via scrapebox.

In other words - Take the panda's bamboo, and tell them your competitor did it. Then run, and repeat with the #2 ranked site.

I'm sure somebody else must have thought of this before, and maybe shared it -if so just ignore me - but I would be curious to see if anyone else has done this.

If you never thought to do this, and think it's a cool idea, then let me know!

Hmm... thats a different a approach..I don't think I would have ever thought to do something like that...

Why won't it work?

If you google spam the hell out of a site, it should get them sandboxed...

Only exception might be authority sites like Microsoft.com or Amazon.com -- but low 2-3 PR sites that are only a couple years old shouldn't be a problem imho.

It would work, I have done it before, not to my competition, but a past customer who I did seo work for and got stiffed on payment. So I know it will work.

Instead of putting the time and effort into trying to sabotage somebody else why not just use that time and effort to build up your own sites. In the long run it will help you more, make your less enemy's and will be more cost effective as well...

This approach would never have come to me if I didn't read it here. Not sure if I would want to try it out though.

Sound like some bad karma waiting to happen!

I agree with HelloInsomnia - Just put your efforts into making your own site better instead of trying to stiff someone else - the rewards will be just as good.
