Hey Guys,

Is it still relevant to advertise not on your key-words in PPC?
Talked just now with an SEO manger from a big company, he gave information that black SEO is dead....

Black hat is super useful in ranking the websites quickly only if you know what you are doing and how you are doing it.

I think we're not talking about the same thing, though... or you're not understanding the difference between black hat SEO and black hat PPC.

If we're talking about SEO, black hat is still alive and kicking... If you were referring to black hat PPC on the other hand, I can't speak about it as I've not dealt with it yet.

But if I misunderstood you feel free to correct me. Sometimes I can't seem to grasp plain English :)

Ya, it's kinda dead. Everyone here is writing our last posts before they close the forums up.....

But honestly, you need to look at context of conversation. Who brought up blackhat and why. If you asked the question, he would more than likely have to retort because larger companies usually can't admit to certain methods openly. Most larger agencies wouldn't even bring up the topic altogether unless it was asked of them, and they'd still have to still give the canned response.

I suppose they said it because they lack knowledge about black hat SEO. I have talked with a few SEO managers throughout my 8 years SEO journey I found that they just don't have enough knowledge as they prefer whitehat over blackhat. SO, the gist is, it works and it will work in the future as well. Some tactics might become obsolete but new ones will evolve in the process. Thats it.
 
Of course it works, some people make a lot of money. Here's a strategy that works:
For Onsite : scrape the top 3 and rewrite it automatically + translate automatically into many languages.
For Offsite : GSA level 3 links with optimized anchors

If you find the right advertising network and implement this strategy "intelligently", you'll make money.

Black hat seo is still working and kicking, you can check many threads in the forum showing so,

That "SEO manger from a big company" is most probably a noobie no matter of his post/degree, etc...
Just ask him about his last experience to validate his statement and he'll run out of words or just throw away some noobie experience,

People are making 5, 6 figures monthly or even more by running SEO projects and relying totally in BH SEO,
PPC is not the same as SEO & I can't really state anything but it's still working as well as far as i know
