Hi BHW Fam how are you all?
Lately I've been deleting some of the plugins on my blog for better speed and optimisation. I use WPRocket along with Autoptimise and Perfmatters.
My question is what are the best combination of plugins for speed/optimise? Which ones do you guys use ?
Also suggestion links of videos/blog posts about speed are also appreciated :)
Thanks

I use WPRocket combined with WP Cloudflare Super Page Cache. Also optimize for all that is likely to slow down your blog.

I'm having a bit of shitload on my site. I think it's bloated with unused CSS and so on

The less you have the better...
I usually use WP Rocket or W3 with my own settings.
And AllinOne for SEO. Few other plugins depending on what i need.

Probably the most noob friednly althought I do often have some doubt on the developers confidence in his solution.

Unless you have a PRO account with GTMetrix I usually don´t recommend measuring your site´s performance there because you can´t run performance tests based on mobile devices just desktop. But, if most of your traffic is coming from the desktop it´s ok.

We recommend using any premium CDN for high speed and to pass google core web vitals.

WP Rocket improves the website performance and Core Web Vitals scores

WP-Rocket plugin is the best choice.

and also I'm sharing some tips about Wordpress speed In my experience.

1. Use Latest PHP – 7.0+
2. Avoid shared hosting.
3. Don’t use too many WordPress plugins
4. Optimize your images (ShortPixel is best)
5. Choose low weightage WordPress themes

Use WPRocket and Imagify but activate the .webp Addon in WPRocket and don't use the internal one of Imagify. So Imagify makes the .webp's but WPRockt gives them to the site visitor.

Good hosting server :D
most of the wp speed issues i ever encountered are because people are expecting too much from the server they have, they invest all sort of money in some plugins, instead of just powering up their server...
also themes, if your theme is crap and bloated, don't expect from a plugin to perform any magic

WPRocket and Cloudflare! They are great combo, give it a try!
