What do you consider to be the best tool to research your keyword competitors? Their ranking, backlinks, etc. I will be monetizing through AdSense.

    ScrapeBox?

    Thanks for any replies.

Any others? I'm going to have a look at SERPAttacks - seems promising!

    Home Page:
TraficTravis(similar in some ways to market samurai), seoquake, google queries.

I've tested market samurai but it is to slow for my pc for now. So for seo competition module I like trafic travis. ;)

I use TraficTravis as well, combined with google adwords and regular seach on google (inurl & intitle).

But I think the more serious people on bhw don't like tt that much!?

Yeah I've seen that mentioned around here (that they don't like TT).

I'm looking for a more automated way to compile competition statistics for given keywords than the classic manual searching.

Market Samurai ($149...~$50 discount available if you search) : Seems to be at the top of the list around here. Some say it's too slow (and they've had some recent troubles), but it's my favorite.

Traffic Travis (free and $99 pro version) : Nice interface and speed, but too basic IMO.

SERPAttacks (free and $47 pro version) : Closest to Market Samurai, but does lack a few items that some consider particularly important. Close second to Market Samurai (and cheaper).

Google Keyword Tool (free) : Some say this is the best, but others find it difficult to use. Personally, I like MS and SERPAttacks better, but this tool is just fine.

    Good luck!

    look at my details
What I don't like about Traffic Travis and M.S. (besides the fact that its slow), is that you can only check a certain number of competitors and their backlinks PER keyword, and not multiple keywords at a time.
