I’ve been spending a lot of time digging through Reddit lately to find solid communities where you can actually learn, network, and share real insights about SEO, marketing, and business growth. Reddit can be hit or miss, but if you know where to look, there are some absolute goldmines of info and discussion there.

Here are the ones that stood out to me after some serious digging

SEO & Link Building Focused
  • r/SEO – 385K+ members → Great mix of newbie questions and advanced discussions. Definitely the biggest SEO sub out there.
  • r/bigseo – 110K+ members → More technical and high-level SEO talk. People here actually test things.
  • r/linkbuilding – 8K+ members → Smaller but super focused community for anyone into backlinks and outreach.
  • r/seogrowth – 18K+ members → Newer but growing fast. Solid posts about ranking strategies and traffic case studies.
Business & Marketing Oriented
  • r/entrepreneur – 4.7M+ members → Massive community. Tons of motivation and experience shared here, though you’ll need to filter through the noise.
  • r/smallbusiness – 2.1M+ members → Ideal for people running or scaling small ventures. Great advice on operations, tools, and marketing.
  • r/marketing – 1.8M+ members → Covers everything from branding to funnels. Lots of agency owners and marketers share insights.
  • r/PPC – 210K+ members → If you’re into paid traffic, this is the place. Solid discussions around Google Ads, Meta, etc.
Hopefully this helps some of you who are looking for good Reddit communities to learn or network in.

If you’ve got any other subs worth checking out, drop them below — always looking to find more hidden gems.

Thanks for the list... I tried r/SEO a few times and I found it extremely useless... just my experience.

Great list! One piece of advice: when exploring these Reddit communities, focus on observing discussions first and take notes on strategies that actually work. Engage selectively—ask thoughtful questions and share your experiences. That way, you’ll learn faster and build meaningful connections without getting overwhelmed by the noise.

Big seo has 125k members not 110k members. Don't post chatgpt here. You will get infringement/ban.

Great list! r/bigseo and r/marketing have been really active lately with quality discussions. Thanks for putting this together super helpful for anyone looking to learn and connect.
