Best Keyword Rearch Tool

I see a lot of you guys use SEM Rush along with your keyword tool. For example, I use Long Tail Pro...what would I use SEM Rush for? What extra things would it help me with?

i never use SEM rush but i think its also help on page seo with your keyword and also track your keyword rank.

any one using SEOcockpit

Google Keyword Planner for me is the best.

google planer is good but not best. what i personaly think.

I am happy with "Google keyword research tools", it is free and I am not thinking to spend any money for gating another one.

Learn the better use of google keyword research tools and try to get the best result, this is enough.

i never try WS...

Your brain is the best keywoord tool. So google planner is enough to start with. Look at keyword research as on art...you must know how to search profitable and high volume KW, so if you dont know that, any software wont help you

Guys - the problem with Google Keyword Planner - which most of you are praising - is... (how can I put this...nicely?) Well, to be honest, it's shit!

Goggle seriously throttles your results such that the ones it gives are useless!

Let me give an example. Do a search on the word "buy" - without using synonyms - and see how many results come back. Just over 600.

In a month.

Whaaaaa? That has to be wrong, yeah? 20 searches a day including "buy"????? BS

We all know there are tons more than 600 searches in a month including the word "buy". Three or four from me for a start LOL.

The trouble is, for reasons best known to itself (obviously related to marketers reverse-engineering) Google seriously throttles the number of results it gives you. So when you are doing keyword research with GKWP it's like doing it with one arm behind your back, one eye covered up, while someone's repeatedly smacking you on the head with a book.

GKWT is a *waste of time* for KW research.

**My Answer**
My favourite solution at the moment is Super Suggester. I absolutely love it. Run the same search - buy - with Super Suggester and you quickly get 7000 keyword suggestions. That's more like it!

Now you need to get volume for those. You can either do that pasting 200 at a time (another Google limitation) into GKWT or use the free version of Marketing Samurai which lets you do a thousand at a time or more.

(Kudos for Jacob King, if he's on here, for putting me onto it )

Now you've got 10 times more keywords than you had with the Google tool.

Now you just have to work out which keywords you want to go for ? which is another story!

(I do have a trick I can share if anyone's interested )

But anyway, at least you've now got a decent list of keywords - not the pathetic list that Google fobs you off with.

Though its not a software, its all work is done online and it shows very good details about every keyword you wanna research.
May be you must try it once.
