Hello,

Quick question, what is the best domain for India? Seeing quite a lot of nice .in domains, but .co.in seems to be ranking better and easier. What is your opinion?

.in is good buddy
but if you can have .com then pick that. :)

Hmmm, seeing quite good .com's indeed. But since all traffic would come from India, I guess the .in is the best one.

if available get registration of .net/.info/.org too

Hmmm, some say .com some say .in. Got some .in's for a few new branches, but also took 2 .com's for this branche now. Let's see how it works out! :)

In the UK .uk is locked into owners of .co.uk until 2019, (so you can't register .uk unless you already own .co.uk).
I had a bit of a laugh end of 2014 registering great .uk domains only to discover it wasn't permitted !
Maybe you need .co.in to buy .in ?

Apparently you don't have to own the .co.in in order to own the .in, since I just registered 10 .in's without any problem.

Obviously the shorter one is better.

If you hesitates between .co.in and .in I would go for .in.

It is more ''naturally'''.
.co.in sound like a second choice for when xxxxx.in is already taken by someone. And .in is shorter of course.

If you start a international website you should go for .com. It's confidential for people.
