Most countries mentioned here are developing countries and not third World. Brazil and Thailand in particular are two of the richest countries of the World.
Living in poorer countries has more benefits than disadvantages. Do your banking and money affairs in a safe heaven like Panama or Singapore and just keep 3 month of budget in a local bank account so nobody knows how much your make. Don't show off with your valueables and don't look down at people and you will have nothing to fear.
If you pick a counry with territorial tax regime and structure your income in a smart way, you won't even need to pay taxes.
Some countries are also behind in the internet so the laws haven't caught up. So that means you won't get taxed on internet earnings (in some countries). Brazil might be one of those countries (not sure).
You also have to let go of your U.S. citizenship because the IRS will still tax you despite living outside the country (fucked up law eh?).
