Backlinks through Blogs

Hello All,

I have been writing blogs for past 2 months now for the backlink of my website on other. However, almost none of them have been indexed to my website till now. Though other backlinks like that from social bookmarking and forums have been indexed though.

What am I missing?

What do you mean, haven't been linked? U mean indexed?
 
First off, check if the blogs you’re posting on are being crawled by search engines.

If the site is low-quality or inactive, it might not get crawled often, or at all.

Another trick is linking your already indexed pages to the new blog backlinks to help Google find them.

Social links get indexed quicker because they’re crawled more often.

If you’re posting on low-quality or spammy blogs, don’t expect too much in terms of results.

make sure the blogs you're posting on are actually being crawled by search engines. If the site's low-quality or inactive, it probably won't get crawled .

But seriously, if you’re posting on spammy or low-quality blogs, don’t expect any results. Good luck!

The AS of these website is around 90 on an average.

I probably have a good idea where you’re building those backlinks, and I don’t want you to take this the wrong way, but...

Marketing is generally an expensive game.

A solid link that brings real traffic and is within your niche usually won’t cost less than $200.

Those are real backlinks, everything else tends to be a bit of a time-waster.

You should definitely keep diversifying, but not in the same way as before.

We’re heading into 2025, and building links like it’s still 2005 isn’t the best approach anymore.

Not saying that’s what you’re doing, just trying to give you a helpful tip in the right direction.

check for the quality of the blogs, and check the No follow tags are being used in case. check for the content updates, and check with Search Console for any issues for not crawling or indexing
 
Make sure the pages don't have any no index tags and articles are high quality. Promote them on social media pages and try indexing services. If needed, build some links to those pages.

Try using Google Search Console to request indexing of your blog pages. Also, make sure the blogs are being linked from high-quality sites and not marked as "nofollow.” Using tools like IndexMeNow or Linklicious can help get stubborn links indexed faster.
 
You can continue to build a diverse backlink profile

Thanks for your guidance. I found "no-opener" tags on most of my blogs. Is there anything I can do, specifically because these websites are publishing/ media houses with 90 DA and above.

Have you tried to contact the publisher and ask if they can switch to regular links? Explain how it benefits both of you, especially since they have high DA, or you can consider diversifying your backlink sources, smaller blogs can offer valuable do-follow links.
 
It sounds like your blog backlinks aren't being indexed because search engines may take longer to recognize them compared to social bookmarks or forums. Make sure the blogs you're posting on have good domain authority and are regularly crawled by search engines. You can also submit the URLs to Google Search Console for faster indexing and ensure the blogs are public, not restricted
 
Try leaving links via social media, they are indexed quite quickly
 
You may need to check your blog platform's index settings or improve your blog content, man.

First make sure that the articles/blogs you published are public.
Whether you created links yourself or bought from someone, there are chances that you created links in such directory of the website that is not indexable. It can happen with the popular site too. Indexing can be blocked of a page or directory with several ways: meta robots tags, X-robots tag, robots.txt etc. So first make sure that no such elements are there that block indexing of your website.
Use indexer tools to index your article/blog backlinks if everything above is fine.
You can also create some 2nd tier links to improve authority of your blog/article links. 2nd tier activities could be SBM, forum etc.
 
Write and publish user engagement contents with high quality. Check for no index tags
