Backlinking method for low volume amazon niche site

I've been making progress on my first amazon niche site and now it's time to give it a boost wih some proper links. What's the best option for long-term backlinking when it comes to niche sites that target low volume keywords (averaging say 250 searches per month)?

Competition on some of my keywords is weak, but on others there are more authoritative sites like news sites and some review sites (although they often aren't actually targetting the specific keywords they're ranking for that well).

- Should building web 2.0s be enough? If so roughly how many should I build and how many links to my money site should I place on each?
- Are PBN links excessive for such low volume keywords?
- Will social signals be necessary?
- Anything else I should use?

If your site is silo structured it will make things a lot easier I suggest you read up on it if you haven't already.

I would get some PBN links to the silo pages and you can build web 2.0s to the inner pages.

If you fix all the leaks and interlink your site good it will rank.

Sorry to hijack OP, but could you give an example of good inter linking and define "leak" please

Thanks. I've heard about the silo structure before but didn't realise it was so important. I don't think it will work well on my site.

Currently I have the home page linking to a main page and two category pages. Every post / page has a category drop down box on it and a menu with all of the posts ordered into categories. I did this for visitor usability.

So effectively all of my pages are 'silo pages' as i'm trying to rank all of them for individual keywords, apart from the home page. By taking out the interlinking of the pages/posts I think this will ruin usability.

Is it a necessity?

Cheers. I'm gonna try some web 2.0s and see how it goes.

Does it matter much if the domains are irrelevant to my niche? Obviously i'd write relevant content manually.

What i'm asking is if I was to buy a package of 20 random Tumblr blogs with decent PA and added the content myself would this be sufficient?

Does it matter if the blog comments are nofollow?
