    Hi Folks,

I have started promoting my niche on Youtube. I have made some videos however I wondered if anyone knew of a place to download any half decent music that could be used as background sound.

It goes without saying (Quite why I'm saying it then, I can't quite say) that it would need to pass YouTube's Content ID system and therefore avoid being Muted, Monetized or Tracked by others.

I've looked at some "Royalty Free" stuff that I got in some torrents but I suspect there are other good places to get some...

    Kudos.

    Nice quality stuff. :)

All they ask is that you put a link to their site
somewhere in your Youtube description box.

    Cheers! - "Wiz"

Hi Wiz thanks so much for this. Exactly the sort of thing I was after - Attribution not a problem will always pop a link to them in the vid. Yuu just saved me uploading a video with some very dodgy music!

Epic music or instrumental is best for video music.

We've used audiojungle to source high quality music. They have all kinds of tracks and it's pretty affordable compared to some of the other sites (15-25 dollar range typically).

Believe it or not YouTube has a bug library they just started adding to right on their own website which you can check out if you're just starting out, but if you want to take a more professional route I recommend spending $5-$10 on AudioJungle and get a good quality track to use.

There are a lot o other great royalty free sites out there to check out too. Just be sure to carefully read the usage rights depending on what you're using these videos for.
