Military is where stupid people go to become even more stupid. Is like the university of stupid. I realize some people here might have served in the military or even have a military career but i stand my position on this. You MUST be stupid to fucking go and enroll as volunteer or allow yourself to get enrolled into a system who's main purpose is to KILL PEOPLE. If you're going to give me the "defend the country and loved ones" speech better skip it or you will prove me beyond any doubt you are in fact stupid. As a matter of fact I have more respect for mercenaries who do this as a job and they are not delusional to think this is something good or they're serving the greater good. If you go and kill people because you like that at least you make it as a choice for what it is not for the BS you're being fed.
The environment in the military is so fucked up that even if you're not completely retarded and brainwashed to start with, you will end up like that due to peer pressure and the crap they fed into your mind. If you're unlucky enough to actually ever go to a war zone you will see it's not like in the movies. There are no heroes. Just stupid folks that die and stupid folks that survive and have nightmares or at least a fucked up life from then on. Why? Because you allowed somebody to make decisions for you and you gave him your life and your mind. And for what? So they can make the world a worse place by spreading death, pain and hate even further.
To the question of how you skip military. In any way you can, preferably the easiest one. There are lots of people in your country who did it. Ask around for specifics. In most cases bribes work well. Certain medical conditions work too and some of them you can fake. If you're really serious about finding a way, you will find it.
Yep, this is exactly what I was going to say.
The military is for poor, stupid, vulnerable people. I go into a lot of households for a living and I've met a lot of families where both parents were in the military. The parents are always radical nationalistic psychopaths. And I live in America where we don't have a draft.
It DOES teach people discipline and respect for authority. The problem is you can learn the same things going to prison.
And the bigger problem is the military brainwashes people to kill other people. They teach you how to shoot "targets" without viewing them as actual people. It basically turns people into homicidal / psychopathic killers.
In America, 24% of all domestic violence cases are caused by men & women in the military. THINK ABOUT THAT REALLY HARD. If nobody joined the military, 24% of domestic violence cases would stop. What would also stop is all these men coming back fucked in the head with PTSD. Then they go get drunk at a bar and shoot a stranger cause he looked at his wife the wrong way.
Heres a fun story -
Many years ago, we had a SERIOUS problem with recruiters walking around our neighborhoods, into stores, dressed in camouflage and going INTO THESE STORES to RECRUIT young, vulnerable kids WHILE THEY WERE WORKING. This shit made me furious and I was around 22 at the time so they would try to recruit me too. They'd hand out these little pamphlets then come back over and over to the same stores trying to get the same people to sign up.
So eventually what I did was me & my friend made some pamphlets of our own. We figured "if these assholes can approach kids while they're working to speak to them about joining the military and all the benefits of it... then we can SURE AS HELL follow these guys around with our own pamphlets that talk about all the fucked up shit the military does to people".
When I'd get off work, me and a friend would follow these 2 guys around EVERYWHERE they went. Everytime they handed out a pamphlet or tried to start a conversation inside a store, we'd hand out our pamphlets to the same people then start referencing cases of innocent bombings, ptsd, domestic violence, how war vets are treated in America, etc etc. These recruiters HATED US and the funny part is they couldn't really argue with us or raise their voices (they know they'd get kicked out). So eventually these guys got smart and started switching up their days and times, but eventually we learned their new schedule and did the same thing.
This went on for about 6 weeks I want to say. And what eventually happened is we started causing SO MUCH DRAMA inside these stores, that EVERY SINGLE STORE in my town petitioned against ANY FORM OF RECRUITING in their businesses or on their property. It distracted customers and more importantly distracted employees from work (which store managers did NOT appreciate).
I'll tell you, the day those 2 dipshits showed after the ban, and walked into their first store (petsmart)..... it was the BEST FEELING in the world. We followed them right into petsmart, they got about 30 feet into the store and a manager quickly ran to the front of the store, grabbed both their arms and escorted them outside. Then he explained that every store in that complex (like 14 stores) had banned them from recruiting inside their businesses. These guys actually left petsmart, completely ignored what the manager said, and went into store after store getting kicked out. It took about 6 different stores before they got the message, drove to another shopping complex, and the same shit happened.
In the end, they wound up getting personal information from only 3 people (that we knew of). And we were able to talk 2 of them out of joining the military (both guys), but the 1 girl would not listen. She said she hated her parents, she didn't have any friends, no money, she was a tomboy and we knew we had no chance of talking her out of it. Like 6 months later we called back and she still told us she was still joining. 6 months after that she was gone.
So we weren't able to stop everyone from joining. But we managed to get 8 different shopping complexes to ban recruiting in their stores. And I have to say, that was one of the first times in my life that I actually felt like I did something meaningful
Even till this day, like 10 years later, if I catch recruiters anywhere, it doesn't matter where I am or what I'm doing, I follow these guys around like a stalker. In my eyes, they're no better than gang recruiters.
