Yes, this is happening to me with one of my big keywords one minute I am in the results then on the next server when I refresh I am not if I am in for the plural of the word I am not in for the opposite. It's been going on for a while for me. It is really annoying and some would say it is the google dance but I really don't know if it is. What I am noticing without a doubt though is more authoritative sites are pushing their way up, I hope it is not going to stay like that and it is still running the update.

Nope, but i did brought Press Release for the branding purposes and it coincides with the update and the rank changes. IDK!

I've noticed that keywords that rank in the top 20 in SERPs didn't budge with this update but anything 20+ lost a lot of spots (they are starting to slowly recover). All my keywords are long tail btw.

Yep, they are down big time. I do monitor it on daily basis. Lifewire is giving me confidence that i am not alone. LOL

I can't make any sense what this update has targeted other than guessing that someone at Google gave far too much value to a specific signal which is to value previously under rated sites reason being.

Actually Lifewire and inc are not affected by the recent update, how did you find that false info. In fact, inc gains more traffic from this update.

lifewire.com was definitely hit in this update. INC.com, not as far as I can see.

NYT, inc and lifewire were NOT penalized by updates.
Reason is only political.

NYT was not caught up in Bert. When big updates happen, it's an opportunity for us to manually ding big sites. This one was purely political.
