Are there any domain and hosting options that do not require an address when registering?

I've looked everywhere...no luck yet. Any suggestions or is this impossible? I don't want to register with my address.

just make a fake address.. what's the problem?

Putting in a fake address is illegal, it's considered to be "address fraud" (see wikipedia -> "address fraud"). So I won't be doing that. The law would apply when registering a domain no?

..if anyone knows one way or the other whether it applies to domains/hosting, please chime in.

You want to "hide". But you're worried about committing fraud? You can't have it both ways. Either you use fake information or you don't. The only other way is to find someone else to do it for you.
