other member put his tumblr blog link and got banned.

I am in favor old accounts. I have 2 old accounts with 5k followers and few months old. I use link in bios with no prob. My all new accounts got banned nearly 50.

Why do they have a section called "website" for your webite, the ban you when you use it? Madness.

it used to depend on a link type, if you put some scam page, they would ban you. but now, no idea which links result in a ban but they do ban you if you put anything in there

OK. so here's my new post. first, forgive my english. it's bad i know.
so, just a few minutes ago. i experienced the same problem.
i got 7 accounts (3 with 2k++ followers).
then, in one of those account (a new one like 3 or 4 weeks, it's about nature photography niche), that got only 500++ followers, i've tried to put a link.
i've made a LINE official account for that account. simple, i wanna attract my followers & get more followers to that account, with adding my official LINE. then i put the link on the account's BIO to directing people on that LINE ID (to add it off course).
SAFE. nothing happened.
then, i've tried to experiment with editing caption on one of my uploaded photos on that account with the link. saving it. but i didn't see the link is on (only plain grey text that won't tap the link). so, i decided to erased it. still, nothing happened.
i switch with other account (log out) for several minutes to post some new updates.
later on, i came back for log in to that account. and that's when i see the "your account has been disabled for violating our terms. blah.. blah.. blah..". I'M SHOCKED! first time my account got banned. LOL!

previously, used FL too for that account, for only like, follow & unfollow. yet, i still don't understand on what point that i got banned. i guess my FL's setting is fine (got low to medium setting). but the link? i don't know. either for put it in BIO or CAPTION???
phew, and now i'd rather don't care with this account (someday, i'll make a new one with that same niche probably), but still curious too, is this the kinda perma-ban or just temporary, guys?

Also they can trace the destination of a link now so if you have a redi to an affiliate link or you send to a blog that has the direct affiliate link there or you straight post any affiliate link, you are going to get smacked. I believe the destination of the link is the main factor, for instance they hate JVzoo and Clickbank.

That is not true. I do the social media accounts for an adult business. They added URL of their adult website and reached nearly 20k. They changed their link in bio using URL shortener and got banned. I have taken over after that to manage their social media accounts. I started their new account and put straight from the beginning their URL in bio (without URL shortener) and I use Massplanner 2 for posting, likes and follow/unfollow. Description has now over 2.5k followers, no temporary suspension and no ban at all. However, you have to follow certain rules!
