Hi, I'm new to media buying and I'm trying to figure out what channel to work through - I some how got interested in native ads and more specifically into 'Exit Intent Pop ads'. In the beginning I heard about Facebook , Native, Banners, Push, all kinds of channels. I wanted to dial in on one, and native sounded the most appealing. I even went to my first conference and even though I've heard negative things about native being saturated, I want to still push on. Okay, so enough of my history.
So far, I have an exit-intent pop up panel that displays 6 ads. The panel split-tests through the various ads I have. My question though is if this is a good way to be spending my time, by optimizing this panel. Do people make a living just off these things or do they concentrate their focus on say landing pages, things that convert better? Also with native advertising, are wordy descriptions a no-no.
Thanks a bunch guys.
