Are 301/302 redirects passing juice/penalties more quickly?

Hi, I have a theory that since recent updates, penalties and therefore I imagine link juice, is passing more quickly through redirects now, in line with the increased speed of other processes by google that used to take ages but now are very quick. And also they may have done it as part of the way to clear up certain niches recently!

Anyone have any experiences recently with this?

I have not really noticed them passing more quickly. I will keep an eye out and test your theory.

I have been experimenting with redirects lately and I have noticed them passing the juice quickly.

Only 3 days ago I redirected an old domain to a new site and 8 hours later it was ranking number 7. I have done this 3 times within the last 4 weeks or so but each time the new sites have only been lasting a week or so. A week in my niche is decent money so i'm not complaining.

I have just made the plan to 301 redirect 7 of my old domains to 1 domain and I will blast the 7 redirects with links.
I will post the results on this forum

I can think of 3 301's I've set up within the last month or so, and was more than a little surprised to see the goodness or badness happen within 24 hours each time.

I always used 301 redirects when my sites were slapped by google. and always the links juice had passed on the new domain. I didn't tested lately this thing, so I can tell if is passing the juice faster or not.

Definitely passes juice faster but the site won't stick all that long...couple days to a week or so.

in my case, for sure it has stick much longer than a week. I could says even months.
