It's not about quantity but quality. You don't need 10 articles but good content. You can have just 4 good pages and be accepted.
The most real purpose the page has, the more probabilities to be accepted on Adsense. Does your page clearly satisfy one not deceiving intent? You will be approved. Does it partially satisfies it? You won't.
