Hi, I got inquiries about networksolutions domain. I've purchased their domain only and I want to use it to redirect to my aff link on CR. The thing is, I don't want to purchase their shitty web url forwarding offer lol. Can I possibly redirect it without using their PAID web forwarding? I already have a free web host server. Please help me. I really need to start working with my project. Thank you and Merry Christmas.

Network Solutions generally has poor reviews due to their customer service and poor website control panel. Similar to 1&1.

Yes, that's what I've heard. But I already got 1 domain name which I think is perfect for my aff offer. Have you tried url forwarding using java or php script?

I have. It's pretty simple if you look up some scripts online. If you absolutely cannot figure it out you could install wordpress and use a 301 redirect plugin to manage it for you.

But I need to know if networksolution allows it because they have paid web forwarding.

You should've went with GoDaddy. If you couldn't afford it, there are coupons that would have provided you a nice discount.

Yes, you're right. But I think I figured what I need to do. I just need to point my domain's DNS to my web host. I'll wait for 48 hours and see if I can upload my redirect file. Wish me luck. Lol it's Christmas and my GF is actually mad because I'm busy working. Can't help it, I got the blood of a winner. lol

And this sums it all. I just purchased one domain yesterday on the one offering quick 5 here..
Got it from him too. Wasn't even paid yet, but I don't mind. So how's your domain going? Have you registered to a free web host server provider or you will purchase NS's web host service?

Same here. Bought a domain from Networksolutions for the offer. Still waiting for the quick $5. It's not a big deal though :D

And DNS change for new domain takes effect lot faster than 48 hours. It takes around 3-4 hours.
