I have been flirting with the idea of making lots of Android apps and going full blown into that internet marketing area. But I have thus far been pointing my energy in other IM categories. I did, nearly 2 years ago release 1 very basic Android game to just get a feel for things and to setup the framework, I'm wondering if it's time to try to go further.
Anyways, I was wondering if there are any hardcore Android app makers on here who could give me the low down or starter tips I should consider from their experience to start to get some traction as a beginner. For the record I don't plan on making the next big app, my strategy has always been to just make many many small apps that collectively bring in a nice autopilot income, say all together $20-$50 a day I think is a nice goal to hit a year in from when I start maybe (of course if I can do better ill take it).
I know ASO has been a big thing in the past, and getting installs + reviews at the right ratio. The keywords part has always confused me cuz app categories seem much more limited realistically then general keyword searches on a search engine, so I always thought it might be hard to find an untapped keyword that I could realistically build an app around.
But I remember a while back people saying it's was REALLY important to buy some app installs on your first couple days of your app being released on the Google Play store is that still true and if so what's the best site to buy some from ?
Any help/advice would be appreciated, just trying to gather all the info I can.
