I think in terms of your question - Amazon should be part of every marketers sites - simply because of the name and they pay. I've been in CPA networks where they just shut you down or take you off an offer etc and it sucks - but with Amazon you know your money is coming the last wednesday of the month.

Probably shouldn't be the only thing you do - but yeah get involved and figure out what works for you.

WOW thats good....I cant make any money over there...and godaddy affiliate is not much better.

There are plenty of azon site builders - I'm testing Associate-o-matic and Amaniche. I'd have to start two new sites with the same type of advertizing to really find out which is better, at the moment the Associate-o-matic wins in revenue generated.
It's more difficult to rank them, though, so you need a different source of traffic besides g.
 
I think amazon have a great affiliate program the company very known and have profits
 
I'm now on a program called OneX and I make up to 640$ per month ( not big deal ) I'm searching for other affiliate programs just like you , amazon its not bad for a webmaster but since my site is not SEO ranked , I dont have to worry about this affiliate program .

It just leaves you with the thought "how many buy after these 24hours?"

I agree on the holiday season though - anything goes then.
But the rest of the year above reason spoiles the motivation.

To profit from the "amazon link reputation" ALWAYS combine your amazon-afiliate-links with others; so your visitor has a choice - just imagine the traffic you lose / the visitors who simply look somewhere else after they saw your "single) amazon-link:

"All right, this site has a good review about xyz, and here's an amazon link..*click*..hm,average price..fine...let's quickly look at other sites..googlegoogle...clickclick..ok, let's do that tomorrow then"

When he comes back - Commission lost due to the 24h cookie.
If you have other links as well, chances you sell him/her are much much higher; he/she might not even search somewhere else!

Im new to this site and the whole idea of affiliate programms. Basicly my question is this- is it still possible to earn some what good money in amazon or other sites by sending out lots of e-mails (with my link) instead of making my website with banners? Do you guys have such experience?

I totally agree, Amazon affiliates have so many twists and turns, you just have to find your way. Find the method you feel comfortable doing, and it works for you in terms of time spent/money banked.
Amazon should be a part of your rising IM empire, as it's very reliable compared to other programs. The money will come, and your account is safe.

What is better in your opinion making money with amazon or ppd? What's the easiest to earn most?
 
I always put at least 1 Amazon link on all of my MNS so google has a harder time saying my sites are MFA. Which they are lol.
 
I'm averaging about $300-$400 monthly but can't seem to get over the hump and make more. Honestly, I think it's a numbers game and the more sites you put up, the more you make. Just need to redouble my efforts and then redouble again. It does work and it's passive income once they get going.
 
Personally, i don't promote amazon products as affiliate because of their low commission, but Amazon is one of the reputable & profitable company.
 
Just tried for a week Amazon and CTR is 0.15% on their ads compared to adsense on same websites CTR was 1.2%...
So after a week > 50.000 ad views and 0 sales :)
Any trick I should try?
 
Well Adsense and amazon are different ... Amazon you got to target people wanting to buy right now .. While Adsense you try to solve their problem but not completely so they click an ad to get what they want.

So yeah ... If they arent ready to buy when they hit your site then it's not going to be a sale.

Also if you site looks like crap then they will just move on .. It's like an art form really .. But that's why I suggested that it's different for each person and how they try to get sales.

I am just in Amazon Associate, but I have one question
I am wondering if I can set countries randomly, meaning if most of my traffic comes from USA, then I set affiliate program countries as USA, even if I am not living there, and the address receiving payment is in another country??

Could anyone please make this clear for me? as I am just worried I could not receive my payment for mis set affiliate countries

i'm new with amazon & i build 3 site using asociate-o-matic.just try it last month & got $10 for my first month with amazon...well, i think, more keyword research would be helpfull to generate more sales...;)
