Any smoker here?

Thanks.
You sound like my mom ;)
Hi, it's mom. I smoked for 17 years, so I know it's hard to quit. Which helped me a ton is a quit smoking app, so I could see every day how much money I've saved, how are my lungs, heart recovering, etc. Just focus on the good effects. If you last 30 days without smoking, then you just made it to a habit.

My friends mum died from cancer on the operations table after a routine operation, a non smoker and family non smokers, she was so riddled with cancer they couldn't save her. He never got to say goodbye.
My grandad, smoker man and boy died In his late 90s, and so it goes....
If you believe that smoking kills, you will die..if you like smoking you can live 100 years:) every cell from your body works according to your thoughts :) if you go with the idea to the doctor that you are ill, you will get sick. If you consider yourself healthy you can eat poison.this principle is valid in all areas (money, love, etc.)

Ex-smoker here, I've quit last year in october. Sometimes I still light up a smoke, but not more than one or two per month. Anyway, these days weeks pass and I don't even think about smoking.

Smoking is disgusting. It's 2019. Come on. Vaping is almost as bad, as:
  1. People think they are entitled to vape wherever nowadays, and
  2. It looks like you are sucking on a robot penis
On the plus side, smoking and vaping are great ways to spot the obnoxious people who are likely littering as well after they are done.

Sorry if I sound bitter. Years of working in a casino caused some serious disdain.

It is easy to quit, like i did 100 times (may be more)
BTW tomorrow I’m quitting again.

I used to smoke 2 packs a day. I think I was more addicted to the smoking behavior then nicotine itself.
What I did is I stopped smoking at home and only smoke when hang out with friends then leave the cig to friends when I leave or throw it to the bin. Never take home.
Didn't really count how many days without smoking, because I didn’t put focus on quitting, but more in smoke less. Eventually I did stayed away from smoking for a long while, my very last cig made me very dizzy and had to puke in toilet because my body didn’t like it anymore. Then never smoke since.

Lol just finished smoking before I saw this post. I have tried many times and always for the same reason:

Imagine if something very bad happened to you, a relative died or your (future) kid would stay away from you because of the smell.

Now, don't wait for these days to come. If you would quit if something bad happened to you (God forbid, btw I'm an atheist but back to the point), it's all in your mind. It's a psychological "decision".

Make that decision right now. Throw away your lighter and pack of cigarettes if you have any. Don't wait for the bad news. Instead make a good one right now.

And the best tip of all. Everytime you crave one after smoking think:
I haven't smoked in X days. After a week, will I think that smoking a cigarette now would be worth it after all that trouble of trying to quit? Is one single cigarette worth more than what I have achieved so far. Best part is X will increase more and more and so will the determination not to smoke that one cigarette.

Hope you quit. Damn hope I quit for good soon. Maybe I tried the wrong way by not reducing them first.

After 25 years off smoking and half hearted attempts to quit, I finally succeeded. But it was only when I was ready to and absolutely wanted to quit that I was able to. All the years of trying different methods never worked for me until I decided that enough was enogh and I really detested the habit. It's not easy but just take it one day at a time and appreciate how much better you feel each day. Maybe not in a physical sense straight away as the addiction is still there but in the sense of knowing that you are beating your addiction

I mix my weed with tobacco, but I don't smoke cigarettes

I'm sure it's still destroying my body regardless

been smoking for 15 years now. tried dozen times but couldn't leave the habit.

Tried but not really liked it.

Not tasty and gives me a headache.

What you smoke??

This is the mistake many fall in the start. They fail to choose the right type of them.

If you are cigarette smoker, you need MTL Tank. And making a manual build (coil) is a must as all ready coils are rubbish. Finally, you need to find a suitable flavor and nicotine level for your liking with right PG/VG.

If you are heave smoker, you need 12 - 18 Nic level liquid with PG/VG 50/50.

As for the headache part, it's totally okay as PG sucks water which causes slight hydration which results in the headache. 3 - 4 days and headaches will disappear.
