Hey man. I'm a 'quitter'. It's been almost 2 years since I sucked in my last puff. The only thing you need to do to quit is - be mentally ready to face HELL for at least 2 weeks after kicking the butt. The first 2 weeks are pure hell....if there's hell after life, it would definitely be like those 2 weeks. Be prepared for it. Stay strong. If need be, lock yourself up at home with a ton of movies, comfort food stocked and don't come out...because if you meet people, you're likely to snap at them for no reason. That's how mentally tortured you'll be. After the first 2 weeks, it's going to be a little easy. you'll start behaving like a normal human but the cravings will still be there, don't give in. It takes at least 2 months for you to take the craving out of your system....but you can do it. As long as you are prepared for the worst, you shall prevail....quit the butt bud...it is not worth it. I am a fit guy. I do basic workout, apart from playing badminton everyday. Even then, the smokes almost gave me a stroke, pushing my BP up to the high 170/130s. Smokes are pure poison man. QUIT. Don't wait for the 'right' time, do it now.....and don't try to reduce it gradually and all that crap...that doesn't work. If you want to quit, just QUIT.
