Any programs or programming languages I should use to do the following?

Hey,

I am a first year college student from the Netherlands who does something close to IT.
Basically what i've done so far is processing (child version of Java), HTML/CSS and starting
with PHP right now.

However i'd like to learn how to make simple games as well since I think it should be fun.

Should I go on with processing? Or start with a new language which is more advanced to make games?
I should also mention that I mean games for the Android and/or Apple devices.

So got any tips and/or tricks for a beginner^^?

Have some funny ideas for some little games so i'd love to get started on those and maybe
publish them for you all to see!

iOS games are programmed in C, Android games are programmed in Java.
Choose one and start writing some simple apps.

So then I think it's best if I start with Android since I have some experience with Processing
which is pretty similar to java.

also java is easyer to learn than c
