Any demand for an (unofficial) instagram API?

I recently wanted to scrape some instagram data but then I discovered that the official instagram API was closed. I decided to write my own API. At the moment it is still in the very technical prototype stage, but I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a polished product...

Or if you aren't directly intersted, please help me with some product ideas...
