A 15-year-old account with 0 disputes registered using a legit LLC. 15 years of sending and receiving money via my business.

I'm not even using it anymore cause they froze my account for getting too much money too fast a few months ago again.

Today got limited for literally no reason with some pennies on my balance :D

They’re the most disgusting payment processor. They are synonymous with Godaddy and Blizzard. Poor companies with poor management.

I have a thread where I list a bunch of PayPal alternatives and I suggest everyone that can to migrate away from them.
 
I use PayPal too but I assume that my money is on the fire, so usually i cash out every $100 to $500 to avoid a big loss

100% of my clients pay me via Revolut, Wise, wire transfers, or crypto. Didn't have a single problem this year.

For Crypto, I use Kucoin personally, but probably will open some more accounts in case it goes down or something. P2P is really smooth and safe there.
 
Never used them for business but i always try to use other places when i can. The more money you deposit the greater chances of getting your account locked. I've had 4 accounts closed with money that was never returned to me.

Pretty much has to be wire for anything over $5k. Even $2k-$5k a wire is better and much safer for the seller.

Fees are silly when it's over $5k and the risk of chargebacks makes it risky.

PayPal is only really good for people selling small $10-$100 stuff. If your clients/customers are real businesses you pretty much don't need it.

They closed ours 2-3 years back, fully verified account, 1 dispute which we won and they held over £30k for 180 days with zero interest added.

Should sue them for those much interest.
In my case, i simply said TATA BYE BYE to them.

Thats 750£, as per our bank interest. wooo

yup. I had a similar situation, although hasn't been closed.

Man at least they released it. I was selling social media services and they stole $5k and banned me. No explanation. And was told by someone else in the SMM game that if you didn't change your bank account their TOS allows them to take from your account too.

Instead of buying Twitter, Elon should buy PayPal back and liberate us from these criminals.

For those who can open an account with them, Wise is a great solution for digital banking. Sad to see PayPal go this way, could be a great tool fi they weren't this inconsistent.
 
This is nothing compared to their new policy for which if they quote "notice" you spread "misinformation" they are eligible to tax you with $2,500, no less!

So basically, it feels they want to scare people away, and they are doing that efficiently.
