Android Apps - Build Email List through Android Users?

Hi there, so everyone has a smartphone right, and 70% of those smartphones runs android. I'm a "blackhat" android developer and my question is...
Can I build a list through my android application?? I mean ask for the user email and ask for confirmation and then sell things to them????
I think that anyone has tried this idea, and I can be a very targeted list if the app is per example about gaming... or something.

You can also get the emails of everyone i their contacts

Yes you can do it, I have seen many apps nowadays also collecting phone number to do the registration process, you can also try that.
